Pauline Wedlock's Background and Experience

Dr Wedlock graduated with an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ulster in 1991. She then completed a Doctorate in Psychology, graduating in 1995. During her Doctorate years Pauline established a private physiotherapy practice called "The Clinic". After a short spell of lecturing in the University of Ulster, she went on to full time physiotherapy in private practice in 1996.

Pauline has 25 years experience working as a chartered physiotherapist and as the practice principal responsible for service standards of a small physiotherapy team. During this time she created, developed and trained her physiotherapy team in a unique, holistic and scientific approach, which has provided safe and effective treatment to over 3000 patients in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

In February 2016 Pauline closed the organization operating as The Clinic in order to allow for further advancement of her existing specialist service to patients suffering from more complex or chronic recurring problems.

Pauline's interest in chronic pain disorder began as an undergraduate student of physiotherapy leading to more in-depth study while reading for her Doctorate. Over the past 25 years of clinical practice, her professional and academic development has concentrated on the holistic treatment of chronic pain disorder. Holistic therapy for patients suffering from chronic or complex problems required extensive structured reading and attendance of academic courses in areas of neuroscience, neuroplasticity, psychology, psychoneuroimmunology, photobiology, quantum physics and quantum biology. Dr Wedlock received formal psychotherapy skills training and successfully completed a Diploma in Psychotherapy in 2008 with the Human Givens College, London. She has successfully treated patients suffering from a range of psychological problems including anxiety and depression over the past 8 years.
